WoW

WoW can mean a lot of things. Some may know it as World of Warcraft. Some may know it as a verbal expression. Here at chemistree, it is Wallpaper of the Week. It is a tradition we started to keep our favorite "bawse" looking fresh. They are just fun and simple images you can use as wallpapers with our mascot. We have always been fascinated with space and nebula. As you can see in our "Moondog" Shirt.

For the record, here are the past Wallpapers of the Week:

REVAMP

The blogspot just got a makeover....Mia Yoon was in charge of this blog before, she now has her own blog. It is filled with fashion tips, outfits, editorials, you name it.

This blog was a bit dead after summer had ended, but we will try my hardest to revive it.

We would like to start by showing off our new lookbook which is on the website as well.

WINTER 2011:

Introducing the newly dubbed member of the Chemistree Crew, Brennan Stevenson, was kind enough to show up to downtown LA in a minute's notice. Thanksgiving Break....its going down. All of our crew are coming back from school and its going to get insane.
Keep posted!

MOTHER-LAND

Hamhung Restaurant
(213)381-1520
3109 W Olympic Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90006

When the Chem-Crew is looking for a refreshing dish in this ridiculous 90-something degree weather in Los Angeles, our first choice is definitely some traditional Korean dishes at Hamhung Restaurant. It's in the heart of Korea-Town and close to Downtown Los Angeles, so its pretty much perfection.

The famous Korean dish: Bibimbap is at its most original form served on a stone dish which keeps the dish hot and cooking as you eat it with Korea's famous chili paste mixed into the entire dish. It's one of our designers, Jessica's favorite dish at Hamhung.

Photobucket
This is the broth they're also famous for. It's hot and flavorful which goes along side with any dish you order here at Hamhung.

Photobucket
Our other designer Eddy is obviously intrigued that they play soccer at this place.

Some of the side dishes that come along complementary to your dishes.
For those of you who aren't informed of Korean restaurants, they always give a verity of complementary side dishes to go along-side the dish you have ordered. These side dishes are also re-fillable throughout your whole stay at the restaurant. Some restaurants have staple side-dishes that never change, but Hamhung's other specialty is that you won't ever know what you'll get when you go in there since they change up their side-dishes all the time.

Their Spicy Nengmyun is a definite staple dish that the traditional restaurant has kept for years.

Hamhung serves an amazing dish of Korean BBQ for those meat lovers as well. It's Eddy's favorite dish here.

We've told you that Chemistree's official website is on it's way haven't we? Well, today we had a mini photo session so that our customers may get a better view of the T-Shirt's quality and colors. Be ready for those.

Photobucket
Yes, that's our ghetto green screen that we hand-made. But we've all gotta start somewhere right?

The first batch of the long awaited Chemistree T-Shirts are officially in.
These are limited edition because of the Rick Ross printed label in the inside, along with the OG Chemistree logo in the back (bigger than the normal for our first batch only). So e-mail us at chemistree92@gmail.com with what design, color, and size you want.

Our website is under construction, so good 'ol e-mail will do until that is up.

BOARD THE PLANE

Photobucket

Photobucket
Ladies, rock those Chemistree T's how ever you want. In Jessica's case, she did some arts and craft and made the 'Gunner's Brothers' T-Shirt into a off the shoulder Tee and rocked it with some Vintage Levis Shorts, American Apparel Knee-High Socks, and Jeffery Campbell Litas. Also a touch of beads as an accessory won't hurt.

Photobucket
The Chem-Crew hit up the Pop Up Shop at 'Boba Bear' in Korea-Town. If you missed out on this, you will regret it because it was poppin'. We had Shirt Pong games, free stickers, free matches that were actually cool, Daily Bread lighters that came with a purchase. All these shirts and hats were about 30-50% off. The Red Eye team did am amazing job putting together all kinds of brands such as; Red Eye Flight, Quintin, KTB, Foreign Family, Daily Bread, and even us. Next time do yourself a favor and stop by.

Practice on your Beer Pong skills because if you made a pong ball into the cup, then you got a shirt for free. So be ready for next time.
Big shout out to Red Eye Flight for letting Chemistree be a part of this.

CRACK BABY

Photobucket

How does the Chem-Crew give their fixes a paint job? Here's a first hand's look:
Photobucket

Photobucket
Step 1: Lay out old newspaper so you don't spray paint your garage floors and mess it up.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Step 2: Cover up all parts you don't want paint to get on with newspaper and lay down the bike without all the pieces you do not want to paint already screwed off. Now slowly take whatever color you choose (we chose matte black) and simply go over the frame with a good layer of paint. Try to spray paint the bike with one equal coat all around. You don't want those ugly drips now do you?

Photobucket
Finished product?

Please keep up with events from Chemistree throughout the week on the Facebook page. We will have a special event for the grand opening of our website soon, along with the first shipments of T-Shirts. We will have Paul's Tale, Moondog, and Scopes Trial for the first batch of shirts in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large.
We are taking pre-orders right now, so if interested in the shirts listed above please e-mail us at chemistree92@gmail.com and we guarantee that you will be our first priority!

The Chemistree crew visited Downtown LA's one and only Olvera Street. If you're not familiar, it's a little street that's the oldest part of downtown. There are a series of 27 historic buildings, established since the 1800s, outlining this place. This is a really cool spot and you can just feel the environment change once you step in. There are mariachi bands, old school pueblos, aztec murals, and something close to an underground cave. Definitely check out Olvera St. around Cinco de Mayo, the festivals are supposed to be insaneee.

Visit our Facebook page daily for little updates and spread Chemistree like a virus. Let's do this guys. Stickers are still on sale for $2 each so help us out and let's grow together.
